There are so many work at home scams on the web so please be careful. I started brokering notes over 15 years ago and it is not a get rich scheme it is a real business. No matter what business you start you will have to put in an effort to make money. There are No free rides! If you want to start a note broker business then you will need to figure out what type of notes you want to broker. I started with auto paper and my first commission check was for $868.13. I can not tell you how excited I was when I received that check. I contacted auto dealers to see if they had notes they wanted to sell and I contacted finance companies to see what there purchase guidelines were. I sat down in my living room and did cold calls and mailed out post cards. My initial start up consisted of:
1) A web site
2) 100 post cards
3) A flyer to fax with a dealer application
4) A fax machine
5) 100 stamps
Now you do not have to have an actual fax machine you can get an online fax program and fax thousands of fliers for free. If there was only one thing I could say to you it is this: Get started right now!! Do not wait!! Do not pay $3,000 for a course on brokering notes just buy a book and do a lot of research online.
